Meet the Optometrists

Dr. Mary Grace Summers is a graduate of the Southern College of Optometry. She completed an extra year long residency in Pediatric Optometry and Vision Therapy in 1993. Dr. Summers' practice has an emphasis with special needs children,  ADD, ADHD, Downs Syndrome and vision related learning disorders. She also lectures at regional meetings to optometrists, physical therapists and occupational therapists on topics such as Visual Perception, Binocular Vision Disorders and Visual Development.

Dr. Jeffrey Summers is a graduate of the Southern College of Optometry. He has been in private practice since 1992. He served as a clinical examiner for the National Board of Optometry and as an Adjunct Faculty member for the Southern College of Optometry for many years.  He performs routine exams, diabetic eye exams, glaucoma management as well as treat most eye infections.
